Turning Buffalo Upside-Down Again!

August 14th, the third annual Buffalo Scavenger Hunt is coming to your neighborhood, and you don't want to miss out on the most fun you can have on a Summer afternoon in Buffalo
The premise is simple, the execution, a little harder. Gather three friends, pick a team name and costumes, then hit the streets of Buffalo with a list of crazy and obscure items and photos to acquire. The top teams win great prizes and bragging rights for a full year. We give prizes for best team name, best team costumes, and maybe even a few more things we think deserve a reward.  And the best part, proceeds benefit Camp Good Days, a non-profit that supports local children with cancer.
Where else can you explore different parts of the city, meet new friends, have a great time doing something you rarely do, AND make a donation to charity.
This year is bigger and better than ever thanks to feedback.  We're adding dozens more judges to speed up the award presentation and giving you a better after party at Darcy McGees with more food and drink specials.   Aalways there's a new, improved Hunt List, better prizes, more sponsors, and a lot more fun.
We will definitely sell out soon, so sign up now, and get your four-person team ready to roam.  The Search for the Merch is on!!
Last year, teams ran all over Buffalo, in some very "creative" costumes, collecting items and pictures from a long list that made people lose their minds, lose their inhibitions, and some lose their hair, all in pursuit of points!
Some notable items included:
*Cannonballing into the BAC pool
*A group picture with a Buffalo police office (eating a donut)
*Finding a straight banana

The mission of the WNY Invention Convention is to promote creative thinking and encourage scientific problem solving in K-8th grade students. This year, the WNY Invention Convention is recruiting Buffalo Niagara 360 volunteers to go back to their elementary schools and middle school teachers and invite them with their students to participate in this very special event, taking place May 14, 2011
The WNY Invention Convention encourages students K-8 to develop problem solving skills that encourage further interest in math and science careers. The event has grown beyond our existing staff, and we know  Buffalo Niagara 360'ers want opportunities to become more active and engaged in improving the Western New York community.
